Hello!

I am the Deputy Director of the Development Engagement Lab, based at the University of Birmingham and University College London. 

My expertise lies in the political economy of development, with a keen focus on subnational distribution of public goods in the developing world and public attitudes towards international redistribution. My work uniquely links academic research with public engagement and impact, in particular with international NGOs and charities, as well as governmental organisations in the UK, US, Germany, and France.

I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from Duke University and a BA in Political Science from Columbia University.
